Jeep Hiking Tours


Get to areas of scenic Monument Valley to which you would not normally have access. Three Hour Jeep Tour: £45/person

Hunt's Mesa


Hunt's Mesa, in particular, is a spectacular overlook, high above Monument Valley. It is a 6-hour round-trip hike and 8 hours round-trip by vehicle. Hiking up to Hunt's Mesa is strenuous, with a rope ladder at one point. This is beautiful but rugged country. For serious photographers, overnight camping on Hunt's Mesa is recommended. Camping

We can provide tents and sleeping bags at no extra cost. On camping trips we serve a hot supper and a cold breakfast. Our designated campsites offer lovely views. Overnight Camping:  £165/person Includes:  Three hour Jeep Tour, dinner / breakfast

Photography Tour

Guiding serious photographers is one of Tom Phillips specialties. He has worked with many professional photographers and knows the changing light of Monument Valley like no one else. A custom guided photographic tour with Tom is the best way to realize the full photographic potential of this spectacular and legendary landscape. In Tom's words:

Hogan Bed and Breakfast

Stay in a traditional Hogan over night and share in the culture and traditions of a Navajo family. You will be served a Navajo taco dinner, snacks and drinks. In the evening you will hear stories and see dances around the camp fire at night. A Hogan is made out of natural resources such as desert juniper trees, bark and dirt (red desert earth). It is cool in the summer and warm in the winter. The Hogan is a residential, primitive camp. Near by there are chemical toilets, wash pans, soap, towels, picnic tables, sleeping bags but no shower. Monument Valley

Monument Valley Tribal Park in Northern Arizona is part of the Navajo Reservation, the largest in the US which covers and area the size of West Virginia over Northern Arizona, New Mexico and Utah.  The haunting spires and buttes of the valley have been the backdrops to movies from John Wayne to Vertical Limit.
